April 17-18, 2015 in Woodway, TX
They said to each other, “Wasn’t it like a fire burning in us when he talked to us on the road and explained the Scriptures to us?” Luke 24:32 GNT
Have we lost our enthusiasm for the things of God? How long has it been since your heart really burned with passion for Him? This is an invitation to meet God. Through worship, the Word, small group conferences, hands-on ministry, meeting missionaries and fellowship with one another, experience the splendor and magnificence of God Himself. Take a break and join us to rekindle the fire in your heart.
The WMU of Texas Annual Meeting and Missions Celebration will be held at the beautiful First Baptist Church in Woodway.

MINISTRY PROJECT PARTICIPATION
Sub-Saharan Africa is more heavily affected by HIV/AIDS than any other part of the world. Baptist Global Response (BGR) has found that sharing a five—gallon “bucket of love” may be the most effective way to open the door to share the love of Christ with people who are at death’s door. Visit https://gobgr.org/projects/project_detail/hospice-kits for details. A detailed shopping list is available and nothing more or less should be included for the sake of custom regulations and the need for uniformity. One kit costs around $85.
A step-by-step guide for assembling the kit is available so that all items will fit properly in the 5-gallon bucket. Our goal is 50 buckets. Please let us know you are bringing a bucket by calling 888-968-6389.
