UPHOLD . MAINTAIN . ENCOURAGE .
These are words that help explain mission support. By supporting missions, Christians have a part in upholding the cause of missions, maintaining missions work, and encouraging missions personnel.
Giving to missions is providing the financial support needed for missions work being conducted by members of a church and through cooperative missions giving efforts with other churches and missions entities, which embraces the biblical concept of giving and cooperative giving. Financial Support of missions is enhanced through learning about missions, praying for missions, and engaging in missions.
We have numerous opportunities for you to provide support in the areas that you feel God calling you to be a part of such as: supporting the day-to-day operations of WMU of Texas, contributing to the various Texas Baptists missions and ministries that touch lives around the world, helping send students to college through scholarships, or supporting the work of WMU of Texas.
